Queen Hippolyta

has lead the Amazons for over 3,000 years. With her golder girdle given to her by the Greek Gods, she has been a peaceful ruler of the Themiscara nation and the the Islands within it. Hippolyte and the Amazons once resided in "Amazonia" in the days of ancient Greece, until they were beguiled and bested by the demi-god Hercules, who had been sent after her by the God of War Ares. She was able to beat him using the girdle, but he seduced her, and tricked her into allowing him to see the girdle, allowing him to steal it. This caused them to lose the favor of their patron goddess, Aphrodite. Eventually she and the other Amazons were forgiven, but had to wear bracelets to remind them of the chains which once bound them. To regain their status, the Amazons were forced to leave the mortal world and relocate to Paradise Island. There they established their own society, free from the evils of man's world. She is devoted to the Olympian goddesses, particularly the Amazons' patron Aphrodite, and was adamant that man never be allowed to set foot on Paradise Island.

Princess Diana

first daughter and successor of the throne is an ambassador to Man's World. Captain Steve Trevor's plane crashes on the island and he is found alive but unconscious by Diana and a fellow Amazon. Diana has him nursed back to health and falls in love with him. A competition is held amongst all the Amazons by Diana's mother, the Queen of the Amazons Hippolyte, in order to determine who is the most worthy of all the women; Hippolyte charges the winner with the responsibility of delivering Captain Steve Trevor back to man's world and to fight for justice. Hippolyte forbids Diana from entering the competition, but she takes part nonetheless, wearing a mask to conceal her identity. She wins the competition and reveals herself, surprising Hippolyte, who ultimately gives in to Diana's wish to go to Man's World. When she is not flying over the main island, you can often find her training in the Sports Coliseum.

Princess Nubia

second daughter and Captain of the Guards is a olympic athlete. Hippolyta had formed two babies from clay, one dark and one light. They are brought to life by the gods, Nubia is an Amazon warrior, a rival to the title of Wonder Woman. She is skilled in armed and unarmed combat and proficient with traditional Greek hand to hand weaponry such as sharpened edge shield sword and slings. When she is not teaching archery, you can often find her leading the conga line at the discotheque.

Princess Donna

the youngest daughter and the director of Arts and Crafts. Wonder Girl's origin as a non-Amazon orphan, rescued by Wonder Woman from an apartment building fire. Unable to find any parents or family, Wonder Woman had brought the child to Paradise Island, where she had eventually been given Amazon powers by Paula Von Gunther's Purple Ray. Donna is an expert photographer and designer.
